Lichfield City picked up a midweek point as they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Darlaston Town.
Liam Wilkinson gave the visitors the lead only for Dan Smith to level before half time.
Fazio Mkidam restored Darlaston’s advantage midway through the second half only for a superb late strike from Joe Haines to earn City a point.
The opener came with just seven minutes on the clock when a blocked shot looped into the box for Wilkinson to poke home.
Darlaston almost doubled their lead but saw James Beeson deny them with a fine one on one save.
The leveller came on 22 minutes when Jack Edwards’ free kick was nodded home by Smith at the back post.
Edwards went close to a goal of his own early in the second half when another of his free kicks whistled just wide of the upright.
Haines saw a header cleared off the line as Lichfield went in search of a second goal, while Liam Kirton also headed just over.
But it was Darlaston who would be next to net as a quick break saw Mkidam slot past Beeson.
The Lichfield keeper was being kept busy as he denied the visitors a third goal with another one on one stop.
Sub Jordan Clement had one cleared off the line as it looked as though Darlaston would hold firm for the win.
But a sublime long range strike from Haines found the top corner with two minutes to go to earn a point for Ivor Green’s men.
